RECOVERY Trial reported in BBC News: Coronavirus, Dexamethasone proves first life-saving drug

RECOVERY TRIAL which our very own Research Team at Nottingham City Hospital and Nottingham Queens Medical Centre have been working hard on since March 2020 has resulted in a new development in UK Covid-19 treatment,

The RECOVERY study has found the low-dose steroid treatment Dexamethasone is a major breakthrough in the fight against the deadly virus.

The UK's chief medical officers say a steroid treatment shown in a trial to save the lives of some critically-ill Covid-19 patients should be used "with immediate effect".
